Majšperk

It lies on the edge of a wide valley through which the Dravinja River flows. To the east and south, it is surrounded by the green slopes of the Haloze Hills, while to the north and west, it is bordered by the relatively low Savinja Hills. The geographical features of the municipality emphasize agriculture, while its unspoiled nature and cultural landmarks form the core of its tourism offer. The main attraction for visitors is the basilica on Ptujska Gora – a Gothic gem.

The municipalities in the Dravinja Valley are connected by the Dravinja River, which has shaped a picturesque landscape with numerous natural potentials throughout history.
