St. Martin’s Festival

Martinovanje in Maribor is the largest public St. Martin’s Day celebration in Slovenia, attracting a large number of visitors from both Slovenia and abroad to the Styrian capital. This year, the event has been enriched, expanded, and extended to four full days!

The central festivities, featuring the grand “Martin’s Party”, the traditional blessing of the must, and stalls offering young wine and local culinary delights, will take place at Leon Štukelj Square. Meanwhile, a rich wine and culinary program with live music will also be available on Koroška Street, where the celebration will begin even earlier.
