Kungota

The Municipality of Kungota is situated in the hilly landscape of the western Slovenske Gorice. This area was once covered by the Pannonian Sea, whose sediments were carved by streams into lively hills with elongated, sometimes steep ridges and typically gently rounded summits and slopes. The sun-facing slopes are dotted with vineyards and orchards, the lowlands are covered with fields, and the shady slopes are forested.
