Roman Tombstone
In the eastern wall of the Church of St. Kunigunde, a marble tombstone is built in – the Head of Serapis between two lions. Serapis was an Egyptian god, most venerated in the Hellenistic period. The tombstone suggests the possible existence of a nearby Roman settlement and its associated burial ground.
