Kebl Viticulture Museum

The Kebl Winegrowing Museum is located in the heart of the winegrowing area of the Svečina Hills, in Slatina, right on the border with Austria, in the Municipality of Kungota. Nestled in the shelter of the forest, it opens toward the southwest with views of a different landscape – the wooded Kozjak Hills. The museum is managed by the Svečina Tourist Association. In the old traditional timbered vintner’s cottage, everything is arranged just as it once was in a typical vintner’s home: from the modest living furnishings to the large old wine press, along with occasional exhibitions of old tools. The house contains an ethnological collection that brings to life the world of winegrowers and vineyard workers from centuries past. In front of the cottage, visitors can rest on benches and refresh themselves with a glass of Svečina wine or juice, while enjoying the rest of the local culinary offerings.
