The Municipality of Sv. Andraž in Slovenske Gorice is located a few kilometers north of Ptuj, on the eastern side of the Pesnica Valley. It stretches across the hilly landscape of the central Slovenske Gorice. From afar, the Church of Saint Andrew can be seen atop the hill. It is an idyllic, charming, and at first sight, almost fairy-tale place where past and present are harmoniously connected.
The inhabitants are mostly engaged in crop farming, livestock breeding, fruit growing, and viticulture, while the hospitality and tourism sector is also present. The municipality has a vibrant community life, with numerous active associations.
