Our wine cellar is located in the village of Plitvica, near Gornja Radgona and the Austrian border, less than an hour’s drive southwest of Graz. On Plitvički Vrh, Aženski Vrh, and in Polana on Pohorje, we cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards with the following varieties: Gewürztraminer, Ranina (Bouvier – an indigenous variety), Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon, Welschriesling, and two red varieties: Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. A special hallmark of our winery is Gewürztraminer, which in our winegrowing region of Radgona–Kapela Hills produces outstanding wines.
Tastings are available by reservation through our website, email, or phone. As part of the tasting, we offer snacks or a platter made from our homemade products.
Generations of the Steyer family have been connected with music. Members of the extended family play various instruments, and music is a constant companion at celebrations and events related to wine. This is why the slogan of our family estate is: Wine is the melody of our hearts.
