We are a small boutique winery from northeastern Slovenia, in the Štajerska-Slovenija winegrowing district, located near the town of Ptuj, in the Haloze sub-district. The wine culture of our town has a history spanning almost 2,000 years. We focus on white wines, which best suit our terroir. With our wines, we strive to showcase the authenticity of the site and the varietal character, combined with full body and a long finish.

Just below the castle hill, in the oldest house in Ptuj — the oldest town in Slovenia — you can taste KOBAL wines.
The path to our wine shop follows the same route that has existed since Roman times. Today, it bears the name of our great poet, France Prešeren, who wrote the words of the Slovenian national anthem in his Zdravljica.
In the tasting room of the Kobal Wine Shop, you can discover all of our wines through a guided tasting and learn the story of the Haloze terroir and the Kobal estate.
