Cirkulane

The village of Cirkulane is closely connected to Borl Castle, which is located in Dolane, perched on a large rock above the Drava River. Throughout the year, various events take place by the small church — from vine pruning, setting up the "klopotec" (vineyard wind rattle), and grape harvest, to the celebration of St. Martin's Day. The largest number of visitors and pilgrims arrive at the end of July for St. Anne’s Sunday.
