Žetale

Žetale lies in the southwestern part of the Haloze hills. The territory of Žetale is extremely diverse, characterized by steep slopes. Individual peaks rise above 400 m. They extend over 38 km² of the forested Haloze area. It was only in 1998 that Žetale and the villages around it became an independent municipality. Before that, they belonged to the Municipality of Ptuj.
