Church of St. Vid

The Church of St. Vid stands in the center of Videm pri Ptuju, a town named after this church. Each June, during cherry season, a traditional blessing takes place here. Across the Dravinja River, on Dravinjski Vrh, lies one of the oldest churches in Slovenia – the Church of St. Janez, built from the remains of Traun Castle. In the nearby village of Sela stands the Chapel of the St. Family.
