Monument of St. Janez Puščavnik

The Statue of St. Janez Puščavnik, dating from 1848, is located in the northwestern part of the square, in Maksa Kavčiča Street (next to house no. 2). It stands on a broad pedestal with an inscription in German. Stylistically, it represents a continuation of the late Baroque tradition of the 19th century.
