Plague Memorial from 1637 (Pomorski Cross)
The stone monument is owned by Bogomir Ruhitel. It is also called the Pomorski Cross and bears the year 1637 – during this period people were dying from the plague, which gave the monument its name. A cemetery is believed to have once been located beneath it. The monument is also known as the Bajnkov Cross, and in more recent times as the Ajleč Cross, since it was once owned by the Aljec family. The monument has been relocated twice due to roadworks and has been restored several times, most recently in 2006. At the top stands a small iron cross, with two smaller stone pillars placed to the left and right.
