Church of St. Ana
Between Spodnja Ščavnica and Zgornja Ščavnica, a wooden chapel was built in 1654 on the hill above the Ščavnica River valley. On its site, the Church of St. Ana was constructed in 1705; it was renovated twice in the 19th century. The church furnishings include three altars; the main altar from 1794 is the work of the Maribor sculptor Jože Holzinger. The frescoes in the side chapel were painted in the first half of the 19th century by the Maribor classical painter Jožef Reitter. Near the church stands a plague column with an inscription and the year 1647.
