Tower Castle geslozz Polstraw

The Lords of Ptuj built a tower castle on Gradišče, which in 1255 was recorded as geslozz Polstraw. As a border fortress, it was certainly of importance, although little is known about it. The castle at Gradišče had a rectangular layout, surrounded by a wide moat, with an inner wall on the inside and an embankment on the outer side.
