Križeča Village

Križeča Village is a charming little village situated on the hills along the left bank of the Dravinja River, proud of its symbols of ethnological heritage. Visitors are delighted by the working windmill that grinds grain from the surrounding fields and the rustic farmhouse room with a bread oven, often filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread.

In the village stands a well-preserved, almost 200-year-old communal press, where apples are pressed each year to make apple juice. The village also has a traditional charcoal-burner’s hut, where demonstrations of charcoal-making are held.

The Lucija Tourist Association of Križeča Village is actively operating in the village.
