Eder farm and Ethnological Museum Štibl

Eder Farm is one of the oldest farmhouses in the surroundings of Maribor, dating back to 1811. At the Eder educational farm you can find the Štibl Ethnological Farm Museum, which houses an extensive collection of exhibits (a rich home library, porcelain, old tools and furniture, etc.), some of which date back to the time of Maria Theresa. The surroundings are beautifully arranged with a deciduous forest, orchard and garden, where workshops are organised for school groups and other visitors. Here, they can learn about nature and the traditional way of life in this area.
