Jeruzalem Wine Route

The Jeruzalem Wine Route begins in Ormož and continues to Ivanjkovci, from where it leads through Svetinje to Jeruzalem, then through Miklavž pri Ormožu to Kog, before turning back toward Miklavž and returning to Ormož. Jeruzalem Mansion welcomes all who appreciate the harmony of fine cuisine and excellent wines. It is surrounded by an arboretum of exotic trees. Along the wine route between Svetinje and Jeruzalem stands the Malek wine cottage, which houses a small winegrowing museum, a large press in the vaulted cellar, and a chapel with 17th-century frescoes. This more than 300-year-old building, once used by its former owners as a residence and farm building for grape processing and wine maturation, has today been converted into a tourist site, open to pre-booked groups and individuals. In the surrounding wine cottages, wine taverns, inns, and tourist farms, visitors will find a rich offering of wines and culinary delights. Along the wine route, one can cycle, ride horses, travel by carriage, or stroll along marked paths through the vineyards.
