Church of St. Miklavž
The Parish Church of St. Miklavž is located within the walled cemetery in the old village center. The church in the Romanesque style began to be built in the 16th century and was completed in 1662, though it was already mentioned in 1382. The church consists of a rectangular nave with a presbytery ending in three sides of an octagon, a sacristy added on the southern side, and a bell tower on the western façade. Entry into the church is through a stone portal in the bell tower.
In the wall of the nave are several Roman spolia. The church windows are rectangular. The interior of the Church of St. Miklavž is vaulted and contains furnishings from the Baroque period. The altar is originally from 1705, and between 1717 and 1718 it was completed by the sculptor Pogačnik. On the southern wall of the bell tower is a fresco of St. Krištof, one of the largest by size, created at the beginning of the 16th century. On the outside of the church is also built in a marble tombstone, depicting a genius between two lions.
