Restaurant Sedem

Restaurant Sedem is the first school restaurant in Slovenia operating under an innovatively designed business model, where students independently carry out all professional processes under the supervision of mentors.

Restaurant Sedem is a great asset to the school, as our students apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in practice. They train in preparing quality coffee and natural juices, learn about ingredients, create and prepare dishes and desserts of all kinds, develop and strengthen their skills in welcoming guests and service, organize work, and think about introducing innovations.

For students, it is very important at the end of their studies and upon obtaining their diploma that they are able to demonstrate all the professional competencies they have acquired. Under the careful guidance of mentors in the restaurant, they gain additional knowledge and experience, and by the time they graduate, they are more confident and better prepared for new discoveries and creative professional challenges.

Why Seven?

Restaurant Sedem is located at 7 Cafova Street, where I can take the time to SIT peacefully and experience creative dishes and beverages crafted by the new generation of hospitality professionals. SEDEM is also a timeless fairy-tale number that turns us into children again and, through playful tasting at Restaurant SEDEM, takes us to SEDEM Heavens.
