Bike Park Pohorje Maribor

In the heart of the Pohorje natural area, Bike Park Pohorje Maribor offers several trails of varying difficulty. Since 1999, one of our tracks (the World Cup course) has been regarded as a legendary Downhill MTB World Championship trail.

Bike Park Pohorje Maribor was created by mountain bikers for mountain bikers – just 60 km from Graz, 120 km from Zagreb, 250 km from Vienna and 350 km from Budapest, it offers visitors far more than adrenaline alone.

Ride almost directly down into the centre of Maribor! Trails are available for beginners and families, advanced and experienced riders, as well as professionals. Welcome to Maribor!

TRAILS

FLOW LINE

Flow Line is a fun blue trail starting at the upper station of the Pohorje cable car. It is approximately 5.2 km long and features an exciting descent of over 702 m of vertical drop, taking riders all the way down to the valley.

RED LINE

Red Line is a red trail starting at the upper station of the Pohorje cable car. It is 3.2 km long and descends over 490 vertical metres, leading riders to a point just below the mid station of the Pohorje cable car. From there you can continue down to the valley via the Family Line or the Flow Line.

WORLD CUP

The Downhill World Cup course is the trail that put Maribor on the global mountain biking map. This iconic black trail—with fast, root-filled sections, the famous rocky “Rocks and Roll” feature, and breathtaking jumps—will definitely leave an impression.

FURY TRAIL

Fury Trail is a black enduro singletrack, packed with roots, natural drops, and steep, tight turns that will put your riding skills to the test.

FAMILY LINE

Family Line is a green trail designed for beginners and families. It starts at the mid station of the Pohorje cable car, where the Red Line ends. With 2.4 km of fun descending and 237 m of vertical drop, you’re sure to enjoy every metre all the way to the lower station.

RUŠKA FAMILY

Ruška Family is a blue trail on Areh, intended for beginners and families. At 1.3 km long with a fun, winding descent of 214 vertical metres from the top to the bottom station of the Ruška chairlift, it offers a fantastic experience for the whole family.

RUŠKA FLOW

Ruška Flow is a red trail on Areh, designed for riders who love smooth flow and want to improve their skills—both on the ground and in the air. At 2.1 km long, with 212 varied and winding vertical metres from the top to the bottom station of the Ruška chairlift, it offers an unforgettable ride.

STREAM LINE

Stream Line is a red enduro trail that forms an additional, fun section of the Flow Line in the central area, below the Poštela chairlift. This creekside singletrack—just as the name suggests—was built entirely by hand tools and features lively turns and rollers that will get your heart racing and put a smile on your face. At 0.4 km and 67 vertical metres, Stream Line is the shortest trail in our network—but no less fun than the others.

RED FOX TRAIL

Red Fox is a red enduro trail created to mark the 60th anniversary of the Golden Fox (Zlata lisica). Measuring 1.2 km with a descent of 203 vertical metres, it starts at Trikotna jasa near the Radvanje chairlift and finishes at the foot of the snow stadium, symbolising the lasting legacy of the Golden Fox ski competition.

AMERIKA TRAIL

Amerika Trail is a blue enduro trail suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. It’s a natural singletrack featuring varied sections and wooden features. Thanks to easy bypass options around more demanding parts, it’s great for families and less experienced riders, while still offering challenges for more skilled cyclists.
