Ladejenkovo, the oldest house in Lovrenc, 500 years old

Ladejenkovo is the oldest house in Lovrenc (around 500 years old) and is located in the hamlet of Puša, one of the oldest hamlets in this area. This authentic farmhouse from the 15th century is entirely wooden, built from logs, with square windows protected by Baroque wrought-iron grilles. The house is covered with a massive steep hipped shingle roof. The smokehouse was preserved until the First World War, after which the walls were whitewashed with lime. The floors are still wooden. In addition to the residential house, the Ladejenkovo homestead also includes a typical farm outbuilding, with a stone lower part and a wooden upper floor with a gallery (gank) running along its entire length. It is covered with a tiled roof. Near the house stands a double hayrack (toplar), one of the few in the Lovrenc area and a special feature of this region.
