Gorišnica boasts the oldest fully restored Pannonian house – the Dominko Homestead, which experts believe to be more than 300 years old. With its rich surroundings, preserved household tools, and furnishings from past centuries, it remains exactly as it was left by the last resident of the homestead. Even today, upon entering the house, one can feel the warmth it once gave and sense the lingering traces of times past, evoking childhood memories of carefree days spent running barefoot across the meadows. Nowadays, alongside guided tours of the house and its surroundings, the homestead also provides a venue for cultural events, seasonal celebrations, holidays, and traditional customs.
The Dominko Homestead is more than just a museum – it is the past, still alive.
