Drava Cycling Route - Drava Bike
The route, with a total length of 510 km, leads from the source of the Drava River in Toblach, Italy, through Austria into Slovenia and further on to Croatia, where it ends at the confluence of the Mura and Drava rivers near Legrad. The Slovenian section is 145 km long and runs mostly along less busy local roads and well-maintained cycling paths. Due to the varied road surfaces and a challenging ascent between Podvelka and Lovrenc na Pohorju, this part of the route is best suited for more experienced cyclists. The use of trekking or e-bikes is recommended. One of the most interesting adventures to experience along the ride is the traditional rafting on the Drava River.
