Church St. Anton
The Late Gothic Church St. Anton the Hermit, first mentioned in written sources in 1421, stands at the highest point of Cerkvenjak. This single-nave building, with its massive Gothic bell tower, is distinguished by a harmonious and richly furnished interior, particularly its altars. Above the main portal are the coats of arms of two craftsmen—a butcher and a hatmaker—who supported the construction of the church; these were placed there upon its extension in 1546.
