Church of Sv. Trojica

The church together with the monastery forms an important architectural complex on a commanding geographical point. The imposing nave, with two Baroque towers and a lower rectangular chancel with a belfry, adjoins the monastic building to create a large monastery courtyard. The most striking view of the church is from the square, from which a double stone staircase leads up to it. Its broad entrance façade reflects Baroque exuberance and self-assurance.

The Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in a prominent position above the lake. With its Baroque altar furnishings, it unquestionably represents the very pinnacle of Styrian Baroque.

Below the church lies Lake Trojica with a therapeutic park.
