Benedikt

The Municipality of Benedikt extends across the central part of the Slovenske Gorice hills, nestled between the Pesnica and Ščavnica rivers. It is one of the smaller municipalities in Slovenia, but in recent years, alongside its predominantly agricultural activity, it has also been rapidly developing its market economy and entrepreneurship.

Thanks to its favorable location and well-developed infrastructure, the municipality has become attractive to many young and creatively active individuals and families. Benedikt is also increasingly appealing to tourists, offering visitors numerous well-maintained walking trails, cultural-historical and natural attractions — among them, the mineral springs (Slatinski vrelci) certainly stand out.
