Globovnica ist ein rechter Nebenfluss der Velka bei Radehova im nördlichen Teil der Slovenske gorice. Sie entspringt am Grund einer bewaldeten Schlucht unterhalb des Dorfes Šomat und fließt überwiegend in südöstlicher Richtung, zunächst durch ein relativ enges Tal mit feuchtem, ebenem Talboden, bei Jurovski Dol weitet sich das Tal deutlich aus und geht bei Lenart in das breite Pesnica-Tal über. Früher mündete sie direkt in die Pesnica, im Rahmen der umfangreichen Meliorationen in den 1960er-Jahren jedoch wurde ihr Lauf in den künstlichen See Radehova verlegt und von dort über einen künstlichen Kanal in die Velka geführt. Aus dem niedrigen Hügelland auf beiden Seiten fließen ihr zahlreiche kurze und kleine Zuflüsse zu, der etwas größere ist der Vardovski-Bach von der rechten Seite. Der Bach Globovnica ist von kapitalen Exemplaren von Wels, Karpfen, Graskarpfen, Hecht, Zander, Brachse, Barbe, Rotauge, Rotfeder sowie Kleinfischen
